Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking or using any services provided by The Floatation Sanctuary (“we,” “our,” “us”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services

We provide floatation therapy and related wellness services. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.

3. Eligibility

• You must be 18 years or older to book or use our services.
• Persons under 18 may attend only with parental consent and/or supervision.

4. Health & Safety

• The services we offer including Floatation therapy, Infrared Sauna, Cold Water Immersion, Contrast Therapy, and Intermittent Pneumatic Compression are generally safe, but may not be suitable for individuals with certain medical conditions (e.g., epilepsy, severe skin conditions, infectious diseases, heart disease).
• You agree to consult your healthcare provider before using any of our services if you have any health concerns.
• Do not use our services under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

5. Bookings & Cancellations

• Booking: Sessions must be booked in advance via our website, phone, or in person.
• Cancellation Policy:
  • Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the appointment will receive a full refund or credit.
  • Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a fee or forfeit payment.
• No-shows: We reserve the right to charge the full session fee.

6. Pricing & Payment

• All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST.
• Payment is generally required at the time that the service is supplied.

7. Liability

• We are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from the use of our services, except as required by New Zealand law.
• You agree to use our facilities responsibly and follow all instructions provided.

8. Privacy

• We collect and store personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.
• Your information will only be used for booking, communication, and service delivery purposes.

9. Gift Vouchers & Packages

• Vouchers are non-refundable and valid for 3 years.
• Packages must be used within 12 months – note some packages may have be shorter use by periods – eg Intro to Floatation Package must be used within 3 months from the date of the first service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be available on our website.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
