We are currently living in a world that will forever remember COVID-19 (the Greek alphabet) and the challenges that it has brought to so many aspects of our lives. We feel privileged to be able to journey through this new world with you. 

With the introduction of the Governments COVID PROTECTION FRAMEWORK, or traffic light system, we can continue to offer our float services to the community at all “colours” as we are not a “close contact business”. We will continue to amend our response to ensure we comply with all Health Orders as and when required.

This is what we do to ensure a hygienic environment to help keep you safe.

WATER QUALITY

Our pods and open float room are the only ones in New Zealand that completely empty after each and every client, and every drop of water is filtered at least twice. This allows our staff to completely sanitise the pod / pool after each and every client.

 

The water is pumped through a filtration system that that includes: 

    • a fine particle filter
    • a sand and glass filter
    • UV light
    • The addition of H2O2 (Hydrogen Peroxide) and combined with the fact that the water in the pods and pool is saturated with an exceptionally high concentration of Magnesium Sulphate (MgSO4 – food grade Epsom Salts) means that bacteria and viruses simply cannot survive.

 

AIR QUALITY

We have installed a top-of-the-line ventilation system that ensures a regular complete change of air in each room to ensure you have constant access to clean fresh air.

 

SURFACE CLEANING

We disinfect all touch surfaces including door handles, taps, sinks, etc as well as the internal surfaces of the pods / pool between every client

 

VISITING OUR CENTRE

To ensure we meet the Government’s COVID-19 Protection Framework we ask that when you come to the Floatation Sanctuary that you please:

    • Scan to sign in on our QR code for the NZ Covid Tracer App.
    • use the hand sanitiser provided just inside the door
    • wear a face mask whilst in the centre (except of course when floating and showering)
    • advise us prior to your appointment if you are feeling unwell, coughing, sneezing or experiencing any symptoms that may be associated with COVID19 and look to reschedule.

 

VACCINATIONS

All staff are fully vaccinated.
